Sharpe of Sharpe & Wise provided the drafting, negotiation and provision of legislative strategy for the successful passage of Mississippi’s new construction lien law, SB 2622, along with Trey Copeland of Copeland Jernigan. The new lien law went into effect on April 11, 2014.
The new Mississippi lien law has many deadlines and notice requirements that Mississippi subcontractors, materialmen and design consultants must meet to preserve their lien rights.
